Cheris is our Executive Ministry Director. She has been with BIGJAWs Youth for Christ since 2007. Cheris has seen firsthand how this ministry method can change a student's life forever and firmly believes in the ministry's call to "reach every kid with the Gospel of Christ."

Cheris has held many roles at BIGJAWs: Receptionist, HS Campus Life Director at Southern Wells, Development Coordinator, Area Director, Chief Ministry Officer, and now Executive Ministry Director. Serving in leadership for all of the ministry sites in our 5 counties was a natural progression for Cheris' skills and passion. "Our relational ministry style is very close to my heart, and I want to see ministry thrive in each of our communities. I'm excited to be along for the ride and to watch God's mighty power at work in our directors' lives and in our schools."

Her husband Nick also serves in ministry as the Eastbrook Campus Life Director and Marion Campus Life Coordinator. They have 3 kids: Cohen, Heath, and Allie, who reside in Wells County. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, reading books, having game nights and bonfires with friends, and drinking lots of coffee!
