Dear family and friends, 

 Many are aware; life has caused me to take some crazy paths over the past couple of years, including spending the last three in Bradenton, Florida, where I have experienced much growth and life. Just in the past year, I was able to get married to my beautiful wife, Savannah. A few months after our wedding, we answered a call to ministry without knowing any details at all. This decision has quickly given us new opportunities that I am very excited to share with you! 

 Something that I found very important as I have grown is making my faith my own. I am a pastor's son and grew up in the church, and for a while, I guess you could say I lived through my parents' faith. However, as I shared earlier, life has taken me down some crazy roads, through uncharted territory, and has pushed me to pursue a deeper faith in Jesus. I have experienced challenges in my walk with Him that have guided me to step out past my comfort zone after spending years running away from a call to ministry. However, we finally have responded to God's nudge to impact those around us who don't know him. 

 Some of you are probably wondering why you are receiving this letter? I am beyond excited to share with you that we are saying yes to a ministry offer as the Campus Life Director at Marion High School in Marion, Indiana. Yes, that is correct; my wife and I are leaving the Florida beaches to go to the cornfields of Marion, Indiana, to love students in a culture that isn't loving. Many of you know that I have the heart to serve young people, and my wife shares that same heart!

 How can you get involved? First, we need people who are willing to walk through this journey with us through prayer. I believe in the power of prayer, and I believe it will change lives in Jesus' name. Secondly, this opportunity also comes with the responsibility of raising my ministry site's financial support. Youth For Christ asks that we raise 100% of our funds, which means I have to raise $5,335.01 each month. Any donation that you feel led to give will aid in our ministry at Marion High School, loving on the Marion community, and bringing kids to Jesus. I believe that God is in this, and I am so excited to step into this role! I do not know where the ministry will take us, but I do know that if we call on the Lord, he will lead in ways that we have never known were possible!
